Band Bio: Using the stage name "BanjerDan," I'm a "banjo-centric" acoustic musician/entertainer, originally from the Washington, DC area, now living near Santa Cruz, CA. My music is an Americana mix, rooted in straight-ahead Bluegrass and branching out to include many other styles. My main instrument is the 5-string banjo, which I try to use in new and creative ways, and I also incorporate acoustic guitar, mandolin, and dobro in my shows.
