Class :: Ceramic Mug Painting
Saturday September 30th
In this two-hour class, Tina will teach you how to add silk-screened designs onto ceramics and proper glazing techniques for good color results. This beginner-friendly class is perfect for people wanting to get creative & learn more about the ceramic design process.
Participants will have individual workstations & paints to begin designing the outside surface of their personalized mugs.
Students can choose from pre-made decals or hand-paint their own designs. We can help facilitate whichever design option your choose.
The finished mugs are taken to an off-site kiln to be fired and will be available for pick up at Brentwood Social House 2 weeks after class.
Workshop includes: -2 hours of hands-on instruction -A handmade mug by Brave Ceramics -Individual glaze stations & tools -Painting techniques taught by a professional ceramic artist
Space is limited so advanced booking is recommended.

Paula is an Austin-based performing songwriter and student of jazz. Raised in New England and Spain, her music is informed by a variety of influences from classical to jazz, folk, rock, and blues. She's won songwriting kudos from internationally known songwriting clubs like the Kerrville Folk Festival, Wildflower Festival and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (double finalist). She’s performed in these hallowed Texas listening rooms: the Cactus Cafe, Bugle Boy, Anderson Fair and Uncle Calvin's, and at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and Eddie's Attic in Atlanta. Paula's music is described as lyrically rich, melodic and sensual. Her voice is cited as reminiscent of Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.
