Conveniently located in central Austin, Brentwood Social House is a cozy house converted into a charming, family-friendly neighborhood cafe.

You can either rent out the entire shop (indoor AND backyard space) or just the backyard. Shop rental and backyard rental are only available after business hours. We do not rent out the entire indoor or backyard spaces between 8 am to 3 pm.

Looking for an event space for your holiday party, fundraiser, family get-together, small wedding, or company gathering?

WHAT DOES THE RENTAL RATE INCLUDE?

The rental rate includes full use of our indoor and outdoor event space, including tables and chairs.

Indoors, we offer one large main room (seats approximately 30-35), an intimate smaller room (seats approximately 10-15), and another larger room (seats approximately 16-20). All rooms have tables and chairs that you can move around to accommodate your seating needs.

You will have access to the entire backyard area, including the playscape and part of the covered patio area. We have two picnic tables and various seating vignettes throughout the backyard and under the covered patio. We do have outdoor heaters if the weather is cold.

We have an internal sound system that you can plug into for customized music. We do allow live music or DJs inside only (per the City of Austin Sound Ordinance).

RENTAL RATES

Friday-Sunday (4 pm-10 pm): $350/hour for the exclusive use of the entire space for your event. There is a 2-hour minimum. Setup and cleanup must be completed within the hours you have booked. You are welcome to book an additional hour for 30 minutes of setup before and 30 minutes of cleanup after.

Monday-Thursday (4 pm-10 pm): $250/hour for the exclusive use of the entire space for your event. Setup and cleanup must be completed within the hours you have booked. You are welcome to book an additional hour for 30 minutes of setup before and 30 minutes of cleanup after.

RENT BACKYARD SPACE ONLY
(4pm-10pm)

Need just a large family-friendly backyard space for your event?

WHAT DOES THE RENTAL RATE INCLUDE?

The rental rate includes full use of our outdoor event space, including tables and chairs.

You will have access to the entire backyard area, including the playscape and part of the covered patio area. We have two picnic tables and various seating vignettes throughout the backyard and under the covered patio. We do have outdoor heaters if the weather is cold.

You may enter the building to use the restroom.

RENTAL RATES

Monday-Thursday (4 pm-10 pm): $100/hour for the exclusive use of the entire space for your event. Setup and cleanup must be completed within the hours you have booked. You are welcome to book an additional hour for 30 minutes of setup before and 30 minutes of cleanup after.

All events must end by 10:00 pm and cleanup needs to be completed by 10:30 pm.

CAN YOU CATER OUR EVENT?

We are happy to cater for your event! Our offerings are more in line with finger-food options, rather than sit-down dinner meals. You can download our catering menu.

We can also provide beer and wine options.

CAN I BRING IN MY CATERER?

You can use an off-site caterer. Off-site caterers will not have access to our kitchen equipment. If you bring in your alcohol, we ask that you follow rules and regulations of TABC.

CAN I DECORATE THE VENUE?

You are welcome to bring in your decor, however, we ask that the space be returned to its original condition upon completion of the event with decor removed, chairs/tables back in place, trash picked up, dishes in dish bins, etc. Please do not use any decor that would cause permanent damage to the building or is hard to clean up, including staples, glue, tape, confetti, glitter, and bubble machines.

BOOKING/DEPOSIT

To guarantee your event date, we require a deposit of 50% of the full rental rate. The 50% deposit is non-refundable (and non-transferable) but will be applied to the total of the rental. The remaining balance is due the day of the event.
